We are Junk Shop, ‘Centre for Sustainable Fashion’, based in Manchester’s Northern Quarter. Here at Junk we strive to make every decision ethical. Our shop is made from recycled and reclaimed materials We stock our own range of garments made from reclaimed fabrics and vintage pieces, completely reworking them into collections for Oxfam’s Designer Boutiques, London. All our deliveries from our Mill are made by bicycle.
Additionally we support young designers from all over the North West and give them an opportunity to sell and design their creations in our retail space and studio, developing a creative entrepreneurial spirit.
We are also the creators of the Green Pound Voucher: the Green North West currency that clearly badges which businesses are Green and can be spent in the best green establishments that are working to reduce Carbon Emissions and their impact on the environment in and around Manchester.
